Meat packaging has come a long way in the 40 plus years Pasqualichio Brothers, Inc. has been processing and distributing meat products throughout the country.

Vacuum Packaging

Vacuum Packaging is our main type packaging. Packaging film made from materials that provide a strong barrier of protection against abrasion, moisture migration and gas permeability. Products are placed into a packaging machine that removes residual air from the pouch and seals the package to prevent additional air from entering. One advantage of vacuum packaging is an extended shelf life.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging (M.A.P.)

Modified Atmosphere Packaging (M.A.P.) is another form of packaging that we offer: A pillow type packaging purposely formed into its dome shape to keep fresh meat uncompressed and away from the film, allowing the product to sustain its intended texture. The packaged is then pumped with a food grade gas to ensure freshness is maintained. The dome shape signifies that the product is sealed and fresh.

Packaging

Pasqualichio Brothers, Inc has multiple packaging lines running concurrently in their facility on a daily basis. Each line utilizes vacuum packaging which is the most economical way of extending product shelf life. Our custom packaging programs are designed to meet customer specifications ensuring things like quantities of items, weights of items, cuts, etc. are consistent. Once packaged, appropriate labels and bar coding is applied as required. We can then place items into boxes designed for consumers which are then placed in cases with specified box counts, or simply place the individual packages in cases.

All items and cases are appropriately labeled to facilitate proper shipping, receiving, and stock or inventory management.
